Talk on Moral Development of Young Generation

Rethink Rebuild Society hosted a talk by Dr Redwan El-Khayat on the moral development of young generation on Saturday 6 April 2019. In his talk, he focused on the importance of raising principled young generation with values. He gave examples from his project on the same topic which he has been implementing in Turkey and Syria.


Open discussion: ‘Dreams of a Syrian Resurrection’

Rethink Rebuild Society hosted on Sunday 5 August 2018 an open discussion about the possibility of bringing the Syrian spirit and the Syrian society back to life. Facilitated by Dr Basil Hatahet, the event discussed issues preventing such a rejuvenation and how Syrians can overcome them.


Information Session on Airport Checks

On Wednesday the 18th of April, we hosted an information session about airport security checks. The session was delivered by Detective Chief Inspector Janet Hudson, Counter Terrorism Policing: North West, in addition to three officers from GMP’s Counter Terrorism Unit.

Rethink Rebuild Society hosted a seminar on hate crime awareness in our multi-facility room on Sunday 11 Feb. The talks were given in Arabic by Rethink Rebuild and Tell Mama organisation. The speakers stressed the importance of recognising and reporting hate crime.


Priorities of the Syrians in the UK

Rethink Rebuild Society hosted an open dialogue session on the 28th of January among members of the Syrian community in RR centre. The topic for this month was about the priorities of the Syrians in the UK. Do Syrians focus on establishing their new lives in the UK more or on helping their families back in Syria? What about younger generations?
