From Friday 19th to Sunday 21st June. Rethink Rebuild Society organised its annual camping trip for men and their children. Set in the beautiful Wrekin forest near Telford, the weekend offered a wonderful chance to relax, connect, and enjoy the great outdoors together.
On Sunday 18 January, Rethink Rebuild Society hosted a football watch party for the Africa Cup of Nations Final, featuring Morocco vs Senegal.
The event welcomed members of the public and brought together football fans to enjoy the match in a lovely and lively atmosphere.
Over the holiday season, Rethink Rebuild Society hosted a series of community games events, bringing people together in a fun and welcoming space. The atmosphere was brilliant, with plenty of laughter and connection throughout. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the events such a great success.
On Sunday 16th March, Rethink Rebuild Society hosted a book launch and Q&A with Professor Wendy Pearlman.
During the event, she discussed her two books, We Crossed a Bridge and It Trembled: Voices from Syria (2017) and The Home I Worked to Make: Voices from the New Syrian Diaspora (2024).
On Friday 14th March, Rethink Rebuild Society hosted a wonderful Iftar for the Syrian community at Eastern Pearl. It was a lovely evening filled with warmth and joy. The children had a great time with the entertainment, making it a memorable event for all.
