Community

RR provides community assistance and support to improve lives and promote aspirations of refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants, in particular but not exclusively Syrians and other Arabic speakers in the UK. RR has established an advice service that provides support with benefits, job searches, and immigration matters, thus working to improve the economic and social well-being of British Syrian residents and immigrants from other countries, helping them to become self-reliant in their new country. RR also brings the Syrian community together during these difficult times experienced in their mother country through organising social gatherings and monthly seminars that promote constructive discussions. Our activities are open to the public and are highly successful in bringing the Syrian community together with the wider community.

Syria Wins the Inner City World Cup 2026 in Manchester!

We are incredibly proud to announce that Syria won the Inner City World Cup 2026 in Manchester on Sunday 28th June.

A huge congratulations to our amazing players for their hard work, determination, and teamwork throughout the tournament. A huge thank you to the organisers @lovefootball for hosting such a fantastic event.

Annual Summer Camping 2026

From Friday 19th to Sunday 21st June. Rethink Rebuild Society organised its annual camping trip for men and their children. Set in the beautiful Wrekin forest near Telford, the weekend offered a wonderful chance to relax, connect, and enjoy the great outdoors together.

Celebrating Syria: Eid Al Adha

On Sunday 31st May, Rethink Rebuild Society hosted its annual Eid Al-Adha party at the Bowler's Exhibition Centre, bringing together families and community members for an afternoon celebrating Syrian and Levantine culture through traditional music, food, cultural displays and family-friendly activities.
