On Sunday 1st March Rethink Rebuild Society presented "Blinded by the Light", the 2019 musical comedy directed by Gurinder Chadha. The film is adapted from the memoir by journalist Sarfraz Manzoor and follows 16 year old Javed, growing up in 1987 in Luton.
In collaboration with Nour AL-Sham Foundation and Answer Cancer Programme, Rethink Rebuild Society hosted an awareness session on the importance of the early detection of cancer.
RR attended the event on the Community Sponsorship Programme organised by Mercy Mission, in collaboration with the Muslim Council of Britain, on Sunday 24 February 2019 in Manchester. Members and leaders of several Islamic organisations and mosques attended the event and they had chance to network with other Islamic organisations.
