On 30 January 2020, RR hosted Lisa from Forever Manchester who introduced Cash 4 Graft Awards. This program allows community members to fund their projects and ideas that can make them happy, and bring the member of the community together. Grant can be between 50£ and 250 £.
On 20 October 2019, A Youth Day was jointly coordinated by Rethink Rebuild Society and the Egyptian Community in the North West.
On 12 October we participated in Journeys Live Festival Day that took place in the Cathedral Garden in Manchester City Centre. Brought by Journey Festival International in Manchester, Journeys Live was a day of free, live entertainment celebrating talented artists from around the world.
Yesterday, we attended the Memorial Day Service to remember all the victims who were killed in the genocide in Srebrenica 24 years ago. The theme of the event was “Bridging the Divide: Confronting Hate”.
On Saturday 8 June 2019, we celebrated our 9th Annual Syrian day at the Abraham Moss Community School in Manchester. Despite the gloomy weather, we are pleased to announce that the event was a remarkable success. It was reported that around 1300 people from different backgrounds, Syrians and non-Syrians came together to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with their families and friends.
