On Friday 12 Nov 2021 we held our annual public meeting with the Syrian community in Manchester at Birch Community Centre. The meeting provided us the opportunity to give updates about the work we carried out in the last year most especially during the lockdown.
On Friday 22/10/2021, we were delighted to host the 2nd (and last workshop) on creating and designing a handmade patchwork quilt with messages of welcome to “Little Amal" The Walk.
The patches will all be joined together to form a quilt that will be offered to Little Amal when she arrives to Greater Manchester

Our 10th information session discussed the topic of having a career in sports. The session was held on Wednesday 03 March 2021 at 7:00 pm. It addressed these areas
• Studying a sports-related degree at university
• Training needed to become a football coach
• Career choices for sports-related degrees
On Friday 11 December 2020, our finale of Celebrating Syria 2020 ended with a live DJ set from Hello Psychaleppo and Boshoco. These two extraordinarily talented DJ's with huge performances, albums and awards under their belts performed rhythms deeply rooted in Arabic music tradition but with a poignant, contemporary twist.
