Rethink Rebuild Society hosted a seminar on hate crime awareness in our multi-facility room on Sunday 11 Feb. The talks were given in Arabic by Rethink Rebuild and Tell Mama organisation. The speakers stressed the importance of recognising and reporting hate crime.
Rethink Rebuild Society hosted an open dialogue session on the 28th of January among members of the Syrian community in RR centre. The topic for this month was about the priorities of the Syrians in the UK. Do Syrians focus on establishing their new lives in the UK more or on helping their families back in Syria? What about younger generations?

The screening was followed by a short open discussion on ideas and emotions that the film provoked about our perception of relationships, difference, what we have in common, and what makes us humans.
Rethink Rebuild Society hosted a seminar about supporting families and children in need on Wednesday 17th January. The first talk discussed how families can access support via Early Help and what families can expect from such support.
Rethink Rebuild Society (RR) invited the members of the Syrian community for a familial gathering on Sunday the 24th of December to celebrate the holiday season. The event was an opportunity for networking among settled and newly settling Syrians, and for RR to maintain its close connection and relationship with the community in Manchester and the wider UK.
