Rethink Rebuild Society hosted a 2-day Mini-MBA workshop at its premises on the 3rd of March and the 10th of March delivered by International Learning Consultancy (ILC) trainer Mansour al-Baghdadi.
On Friday 23 February 2018, Rethink Rebuild Society took part in Community Sponsorship and BSBT (Building a Stronger Britain Together) Networking Event in London.
The event focused on
1. Providing groups with a general understanding of the Community Sponsorship scheme and the BSBT programme.
As part of its ongoing Conflict Café series, the Imperial War Museum (IWM) on the 17th February gathered members of the Syrian community as well as filmmakers and journalists, all of whom have experienced the conflict on the ground, to hear their personal stories and to ask questions in an informal setting.
Rethink Rebuild Society and Amnesty International Manchester Group organised on Saturday 17 February 2018 a free screening of the Oscar winning documentary "The White Helmets".
The screening was followed by a Q&A with the director Orlando von Einsiedel and Khaled Khatib, the Cinematographer who filmed most of the scenes, both on Skype.
The exhibition ‘Silenced Voices: Syrian Women in Assad’s prison’, organised by Rethink Rebuild Society, was showcased at Leeds University Union on Wednesday 14th February 2018 to raise awareness of the real-life stories of women who have been imprisoned in Syria since 2011.
