Rethink Rebuild Society issued a statement on 25th of January 2019 RR welcomes passing of the Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act, which allows the White House to impose sanctions of foreign entities and persons who cooperate with the Assad's regime.
The Arab British Centre conducted an interview with Mustafa Alachkar, one of the coordinators of the Celebrating Syria Festival organised by Rethink rebuild Society. The interview offered an opportunity to learn more about the event and how RR managed to bring some of the most powerful art works that have been produced by Syrian artists to the British audience.
Rethink Rebuild Society issued a statement on 8th of December 2018 RR Condemning the International Coalition Forces bombardment of civilians in Deir az-Zor and calling for an immediate cessation of aerial bombardments targeting civilians.
Discussions have already started in some political circles about the rebuilding process of Syria as some international sides have begun to study possible options for this process and how to reinforce their positions for when the time is right.
On Saturday 24th November, in Cheadle Muslim Asscoiation, Haytham Alhamwi gave a talk about the story of the people of his hometown, Daraya, in Assad’s jails many of whom were tortured to death or extra-judicially executed in those jails.
