On Tuesday 24 September, RR joined the ARC Project Blackburn in celebrating their fifteen (15) year anniversary. The event took place at Wesley Hall Methodist Church in Blackburn and it was a great opportunity for all of us to celebrate the outstanding work that ARC Project does to help refugees and asylum seekers rebuilding their lives.
RR was invited to attend and participate in post-screening discussions of the award winning documentary For Sama in three different cities, with Dublin being first on 14 September, Leeds being second on 18 September and last but least Liverpool on 19 September.
On Thursday 18 July our manager Dr Haytham Alhamwi delivered a presentation on the work of Rethink Rebuild Society at Manchester Gorton Labour Party. Yesterday, we attended the Memorial Day Service to remember all the victims who were killed in the genocide in Srebrenica 24 years ago. The theme of the event was “Bridging the Divide: Confronting Hate”.
