RR's February monthly seminar was delivered by Mr. Mazin Younis on the 22nd. He spoke of the future of the states in Syria and Iraq between nationalism and sectarianism.
Our January monthly seminar focused on the ideas of freedom of speech and religion in a post-conflict Syria. The seminar was presented by Dr Haytham Alhamwi on 23 January.
RR organised a seminar on 23 November delivered by Dr. Basil Hatahet. Dr. Hatahet discussed how we would like Syria to be after the revolution and how we can work to make our dreams a reality.
RR hosted a monthly seminar titled “Kurdistan: the Absent Reality” at its multi-purpose facility on Friday 19 September. The seminar was delivered by Mohammad Tammo and Delsouze Sheikhi and was attended by more than 40 members of the community.
RR organised a lecture delivered by Dr. Firas Miro on Friday 20th June. Dr. Miro talked about the impact of oil on reshaping the Middle East and discussed how and why we have to endeavour to make use of solar energy to reduce the suffering of the Syrian people.
