We joined the vigil of the "Families for Freedom" group who stood outside the UN headquarters in Geneva to remind the Syrian negotiators of the plight of the detainees in the Assad's prisons.
We attended an event called 'Jordan Hattar: Voices of Palestine and Syria' on 24 February sponsored by Manchester University's Action for Palestine society. This event hosted American humanitarian activist Jordan Hattar share some of his experiences from the Jordanian Syrian refugee camps.
We were part of the Syrian civil society representatives who went to Geneva to make clear that all parties to the conflict attending the new round of peace talks must prioritise the needs of Syrians inside Syria.
Our report 'Altering the Trends: The BBC's Biased Reporting on the Syrian Conflict' released on 21 February has received press coverage in both English and Arabic media. The report, available here, detailed the BBC's bias in reporting on the Syrian conflict through an analysis of over 300 BBC online articles.
We met with Cheshire East Council on 22 of February to help advise on the resettlement of new Syrian families that are moving there under the UN program. We shared our experiences in working with Syrian refugees and detailed some best practice of welcoming and integrating families, as well as challenges and how to overcome them.
