Rethink Rebuild Society helped connect activists on the ground in Aleppo with Channel 4 to get footage from al-Quds Hospital. Al-Quds hospital was bombed by the Assad regime on 28 April. The airstrike killed the last remaining paediatrician in the city, Dr. Muhammad Maaz.
After several newspapers said the British Goverment has dropped the plans to seek Parliamentary approval for airstrikes in Syria due to insufficient support, the office of PM David Cameron denied that. Responding to the comments of a Russian MP, we noted that we were disappointed in her classification of Assad as legitimate when he was in fact committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against his civilian population.
