Rethink Rebuild Society in collaboration with Foundation for Science and Technology and Civilisation organised an interactive workshop for young Syrian refugees who are between 15-20 years old. The workshop presented information about different types of sports, their origin and the advantages of participating in them.
Cheadle mosque, in cooperation with RR, organised a seminar about the Syrian crisis under the title "Syria, the suffering continues" on Saturday 26 of November 2016.
Well done to our heroes for participating in the Great Manchester Run on 21 May to raise money for Iqraa school in alsahharin Syria. This year we raised a record of over £23,000.
An exhibition on the experiences of parents and children in the Syrian conflict was put together by our community member Aala Elkhani. Rethink Rebuild served as a partner for this event.
Some of our community members, including over twenty children, took part in the Great Manchester Run on 9 and 10 May. Our brave participants ran for Syria and raised over £17,000 for the Iqraa school which is fully funded by the Syrian community of Manchester and their friends.
