Councillor John Leech raised some questions on 5 October before Manchester City Council regarding its intake of Syrian refugees. His questions revealed that Manchester City Council has yet to take in a single Syrian refugee under the Vulnerable Persons Relocation Scheme.

RR attended the election hustings for Manchester Withington area at BMHS on Sunday 19/04/2015. The event was attended by the Liberal Democrat candidate John Leech , the Labour candidate Jeff Smith, the Conservative candidate Robert Manning and the Green candidate Lucy Bannister.
RR met with Sir Paddy Ashdown, Chair of the Lib-Dem 2015 General Election Team, during a fundraiser event for John Leech MP on 27 November. We stressed that the UK government should put more pressure to stop the bloodshed in Syria and that ISIS is only one part of the larger conflict.
