On Sunday 10th July, we had our 6th annual fun day in Manchester at Levenshulme High School. This was a hugely successful event that bought together over 1600 Syrians from across the UK to connect with their local communities and to celebrate Eid El-Fitr.
Families enjoyed children's activities, a wide variety of Syrian food, traditional Syrian music, culture and an amazing variety of stalls.
We were also delighted to have Jeff Smith MP and Tony Lloyd Police Commissioner attending our fun day.
It was great to see Syrians, non-Syrians, people from different communities come together, get to know each other and enjoy a fun day of celebration.
