Soaring success at the 4th Syrian Family Fun Day

Soaring success at the Syrian Family Fun Day

More than a thousand people of all ages came together to attend the 4th annual Syrian Day.
The event took place at Levenshulme High School on Sunday the 31st of August, 2014. It started at 12pm and continued until 7pm where children enjoyed themselves with a host of games such as the bouncy castle, slide, and the Merry Go Round. Fortunately, the weather was a real bless and so many people seized the opportunity to see each other and exchange discussions.

The event was also attended by Mr. John Leech (MP) and Mr. Tony Lloyd (Greater Manchester Police Commissioner) who expressed their sympathy with the Syrian cause.

As usual, the Syrian food and sweets were nice attractions for visitors and there was bazars of Islamic goods, henna and face painting.

This 4th Syrian Family Fun Day has added more success to the Syrian Community of Manchester to help our people in Syria as the funds collected from the event will go towards the support of the Educational Profile to help educating the children of Syria.
