A Taste of Syria - Cooking Workshops

As part of ‘Celebrating Syria: A Festival of Arts and Culture 2018', two cooking workshop were delivered on 8th October at RR Society and they offered the attendees a rare opportunity to observe a Syrian cook making delicious food from scratch! The meal cooked was a Syrian vegetarian dish called 'ḥarrāq ʾiṣbaʿo' [burnt fingers].

Participants sampled some of the food and they were even be let into some of the secrets of the recipe.
