Indoor Family Fun Day Over the Easter Break

We held an indoor family fun day over the Easter break on Saturday 15th April. Many Syrian and non-Syrian families came together to enjoy the food, the activities and to have a pleasant day. We were also pleased to have Parliamentary Labour candidate, Afzal Khan, join us to meet Syrian families and show his support.

Manchester City of Sanctuary Launch of 'Everything You Want to Know' for Asylum Seekers

On 13th April 2017, we attended the Manchester City of Sanctuary's launch of the booklet 'Everything you want to know' for asylum seekers by asylum seekers, which is a very useful resource for those trying to resettle in Britain. It was a great event with the chance to connect with many people in the refugee and migrant field, to see how we can work together.

BBC Radio 5 Live Interview on Chemical Attack in Syria

We were interviewed on BBC Radio 5 Live on 5 April to discuss the international response to the chemical weapons attack on the city of Khan Sheikhoun by Assad forces. We highlighted the need for urgent international action yet reminded listeners that the US itself has also been responsible for attacks in recent weeks which led to the civilian deaths.
