-Over 2.8 million children out of school
-At least a quarter of schools in Syria have been damaged or destroyed, occupied by displaced families or used for military purposes
RR organised a training workshop on the "Art of Dialogue" on Saturday 28 March in the RR multi-facilities room.

RR attended the discussion of Juris North on Wednesday 25 March: Legal and Political Philosophy Discussion Group hosted by Manchester Metropolitan University. The discussion was presented by Dr. James Pattison from the University of Manchester on 'The Ethics of Arming the Rebels'. Dr.
RR hosted the Manchester Syrian community's monthly seminar at its multi-purpose facility on Sunday 22 March 2015 titled: “The Syrian economy: A state or a family farm”.
The seminar was delivered by Mr. Mohammad Hazaa Alheraki and was attended by more than 30 members of the community.

BBC World Service hosted our Advocacy & Policy Coordinator and one of our members, Mr Mohammad Ali Ayyar, to speak about the Syrian community's involvement in the upcoming elections.
RR attended a charity event organised by Palestinian Forum in Britain on 15 March 2015 to help the Syrian Palestinians who are affected by the siege imposed on them by the Syrian regime. This event hosted Mr.Zuhair Salem, the poet Ahmad Alkandari, and the singer Abdulfattah Oienat.
RR organised a bus from Manchester to participate in the London march for the 4th anniversary of the Syrian revolution. We waved our freedom flags proudly and reminded the world that Syrians' priority remains the ouster of the Assad regime.
