On Wednesday 14 Sep 2022, Rethink Rebuild Society hosted an information seminar on University Application held by Dr Emily Cooksey. This seminar was useful for GCSE and A level students thinking about attending university. It was open for everyone, students and parents.
On Sunday 28th August 2022, we organised a barbecue party for our community members at Alexandra Park in Manchester. We capitalised on the Bank holiday and the glorious weather to invite people to come along. The idea was to encourage people to make their own burger for free!
During summer holidays, we successfully completed a training workshop for Table Tennis for youngsters. The training was organised by a qualified coach with a considerable experience in table tennis. Youngsters truly enjoyed their time and learnt some skills to help them improve and excel in this game.
On 19 July 2022, we hosted the film-screening & post-screening discussion of the famous film: The message. It was a great opportunity for youths to understand the story of Islam as depicted by the Syrian Director Mustafa Al Akkad. It was a great watch followed by constructive discussion.
