RR attended a film evening hosted by the Manchester City of Sanctuary on Thursday 7th February 2019. The documentary "8 Borders, 8 Days" was directed by Amanda Bailly. Amanda chronicles the journey of a Syrian mother, Sham, and her kids who had to take risks in order to ensure a safe future.
Rethink Rebuild Society participated in Salford Schools of Sanctuary Award Ceremony on Wednesday 6th February 2019 at Buile Hill Baqueting Suite. Our manager Dr. Haytham Alhamwi shared his personal account of what is happening in Syria and introduced the audience to our work as RR.
