We gathered in Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester on Saturday 1st October 2016 to protest against the massacres acted by Assad and Russian jets killing hundreds of civilians in Aleppo and its countryside.
We were joined by people across the community, and heard from Syrians who still have families inside Aleppo who talked about the dire circumstances their relatives live in at the moment. We heard also from Brian Slocock from Syria Solidarity UK about some urgent actions needed from ordinary people to help the civilians in Aleppo.
