British Syrian organisations released a statement on 19 May regarding the recent statement by the ISSG calling on the World Food Programme (WFP) ‘to immediately carry out a program for air bridges and air drops for all areas in need’ if by 1 June there has been no progress on the humanitarian situation in Syria.
We welcomed the statement but mentioned key steps that need to be taken to ensure its full implementation.
