Clare Politics, Cambridge University Amnesty International and POLIS organised a seminar at the University of Cambridge under the title: "Syria is not a civil war: a personal experience" on Tuesday 16 February 2016.
Dr Haytham Alhamwi presented to a very engaging audience and clarified the Syrian conflict through his personal story as a campaigner and a former political prisoner in Assad's prisons.
Q&A followed the talk and was very enlightening.
