Open letter: We protest discriminatory changes to the US visa waiver program

The US has announced changes to its visa waiver program which allows British nationals, as well as the nationals of 38 other countries, to travel to the US without a visa. The announced changes will require British nationals to apply for and obtain a visa for travel to the US if they are dual Syrian, Iraqi, Iranian, or Sudanese nationals, or if they have travelled to any of these countries in the past five years. We responded with an open letter which has been signed by British residents. This letter will be delivered to the UK Foreign Secretary and other parties.
