We were visited by a journalist from Mancunian Matters who wanted to learn more about the experience of Syrian refugees in settling to the UK. His article nicely portrayed some of the issues that refugees go through, namely: if it weren't for the Assad regime's destruction they wouldn't have had to flee the country; they are eager to integrate into British society but need some basic support such as English courses; and the way forward is to achieve civilian protection in Syria.
