We submitted written evidence to the Foreign Affairs Committee in response to its inquiry on 'The fight against ISIL: the UK's role'. We highlighted, as always, that the Assad regime's indiscriminate aerial bombardments constitute the root cause of the Syrian conflict, and that unless this is addressed, then it will be difficult to resolve the threats that ISIL poses to the UK and to the Syrian population.
