David Cameron announced that up to 20,000 Syrian refugees will be arriving in the UK by 2020. We know that priority will be given to vulnerable orphans, and as such, we want to make sure that the Syrian community is equipped to take in some of these orphan refugees and provide them support that is specific to their language, culture, and background. A group of women met in the RR multi-facility room on 16 December to discuss the process of fostering, including the need for it and the steps to become a foster parent.
