An article in the Economist on 5 December focused on Stop the War Coalition and its refusal to allow Syrians to speak in their events on Syria. One such instance is when it denied us, as Rethink Rebuild Society, the opportunity from speaking in an event on Syria in Manchester. Stop the War is well-known for its anti-war stances, although in the Syrian conflict, it has turned a deaf ear to Syrians' call for civilian protection, which we argue might require a military component.
