A number of Syrian groups across the country issued a joint statement in The Guardian on 15 November condemning the recent Paris attacks yet reminding of the ever-increasing threat that the Assad regime's actions have upon the rest of the world. We emphasised that Assad is the primary driver of terrorism in Syria, and therefore a retaliation for such events should focus on his role in this regard.
