We met on 27 October with Nicole, a representative from the office of Ann Clwyd MP, to discuss the issue of civilian protection in Syria. Nicole shared with us her concerns regarding the feasibility of a no-bombing zone (which we are advocating for) given recent Russian involvement, and also wanted to receive further information about a potential transition process in Syria post-Assad. We will be working with Ann Clwyd's office to discuss these issues and to build on the consensus that we established in the meeting, namely that there can be no future for Assad in Syria.
