Public support has been overwhelming, although UK policy developments on Syria are worrying

On BBC Radio Manchester, Rethink Rebuild Society's Advocacy and Policy Coordinator discussed the developments pertaining to Syrian refugees in the context of wider UK policy towards Syria. While we welcomed the enormous public support that we have witnessed over the past weeks within the UK, we also stressed our concern regarding the evolving UK policy towards Syria, which is not targeting the Assad regime as the root cause of the problem.
