In cooperation with the Kurdish House, Rethink Rebuild Society hosted a workshop on Sunday 26 July on the topic of human rights, delivered by Mr. Hassan Ayo. The workshop was highly interactive and covered the history and basic principles of human rights, as well as looking at some of the major human rights treaties. The workshop then allowed participants to discuss these rights in the Syrian context and to propose mechanisms by which they can be applied to the country. A very warm thank you to Mr. Ayo and all workshop participants for an interesting and engaging session.
