The British Syrian ladies of Manchester have an amazing community of women who over the past two years have worked hard in raising awareness of what is going on in Syria and how people can help. They carry out various exciting events to fulfil their aim involving not just themselves but their children and families. One previous project was a sponsored walk in which all the money raised was used to fund an ambulance that was purchased and sent to Syria.
Their latest project was a fundraising fancy dress costume event which was set up specifically to support internally displaced Syrian children. Money was raised for three vital projects; baby milk, winter blankets and children’s medicine. The money has now reached Syria and the children are benefiting.
