Rethink Rebuild Society held a meeting on Friday 27 March with Afzal Khan MP to discuss key issues affecting Syrian refugees in the United Kingdom, including the ongoing challenges surrounding immigration and settlement applications.
During the meeting, Rethink Rebuild Society highlighted the uncertainty faced by Syrian families who applied for in indefinite Leave to Remain around and after the fall of Assad, the impact of delays on their lives, and the wider challenges resulting from the continued instability in Syria.
The meeting provided an opportunity to raise the concerns of the Syrian community and discuss the importance of ensuring fair and timely decisions for those affected.
