On Monday 27th October, Rethink Rebuild Society hosted an open discussion exploring the state of public freedoms in Syria. The event brought together members of the Arab community for a thoughtful and respectful conversation about the meaning of public freedoms, their importance in the current Syrian context, and how the country can be safeguarded against a return to dictatorship.
Attendees shared a range of perspectives in a constructive atmosphere that prioritised listening and mutual respect.
