On Sunday 21st September, Jasmin Tutoring Centre, in collaboration with Rethink Rebuild Society, hosted an informative event at the Centre in Arabic, aimed at helping families navigate the UK education system. The session covered key topics such as the stages of primary and secondary education, pre-university pathways, how to apply to British universities, home schooling options, and opportunities for continuing education in Syria. The event was well-received by attendees, who found the guidance especially valuable in understanding how to support their children's educational journeys in the UK.
In addition to the main session, families were introduced to upcoming GCSE preparation courses in core subjects including English, Maths, and Science. These courses will be offered at the Syrian Community Centre and led under the supervision of Mr. Ayman Al-Halabi, Director of Jasmin Tutoring Centre. The initiative reflects a strong commitment to empowering the local Arabic-speaking community with the tools and knowledge needed for academic success.
