Coffee & Community Morning for Arab Ladies

On Wednesday 24th September, the Arab Volunteer Hate Crime Committee (AVHCC) hosted a welcoming morning gathering for women, marking a much-needed return to connection after the summer break. The event offered a calm space to share coffee, conversation, and community. With children back at school, it was a perfect time for women to come together, reflect, and recharge in a supportive environment.

Beyond its social atmosphere, the gathering opened up important discussions around the challenges facing immigrant communities—particularly the rise in hate speech and discrimination. Participants shared their experiences and ideas on how to support one another and stand united against hate.
