On Saturday 21st December, Rethink Rebuild Society hosted a Holiday Social Gathering to celebrate Syria’s victory and the long-awaited freedom. This historic event marked a time of triumph, unity, and reflection on the strength, resilience, and enduring spirit of the Syrian people.
Attendees enjoyed Syrian freedom songs, savored delicious Syrian sweets, and listened to insightful talks. The occasion was made even more meaningful by the presence of many, all coming together to celebrate this monumental victory.
As part of the event, there was also a segment dedicated to raising awareness about common health issues, such as diabetes and high blood pressure. We would like to thank Dr. Ahmad Alomar for taking the time to educate the community about these common health issues. This portion of the event was supported by Manchester City Council Population Health (CHEM), helping to improve community health knowledge alongside the celebration of Syria’s progress.
It was an unforgettable day filled with joy, remembrance, and renewed hope for a bright and prosperous future for Syria.
