On Tuesday 28 June and Tuesday 5 July, we held our first events at our new centre by organizing two introductory Zumba session for ladies only. It was a great opportunity for our ladies to reconnect with each other in a funny, sociable, and healthy manner by practising Zumba and having a great time with each other.
To make the most of our event, we organised a presentation afterwards on the importance of cancer screening and the available NHS support. The turnout was great, and ladies had a lovely time.
This activity was part of a project conducted by Rethink Rebuild Society and supported by Answer Cancer.
We would also like to thank Manchester City Council to partially fund this event under the COVID Health Equity Fund (CHEM).
