On Thursday 19 August 2021, we held an online meeting with Jeff Smith MP to discuss with him the nationality and borders bill and its possible effect on refugees and asylum seekers. In addition, we briefed Jeff about the current Syrian conflict particularly the latest offences of the Syrian regime on Daraa province and the subsequent waves of refugees that could result from these offenses. We are very thankful for Jeff's involvement with us and look forward to continued work with him on Syrian and refugee issues.
