On Friday 20 August 2021, we had the pleasure of hosting Afzal Khan MP at our centre to discuss with him the new immigration bill and possible changes in the UK asylum policy and law and its impact on refugees and asylum seekers. We also spoke to Afzal about the current developments in Syria, highlighting the recent offenses of the Syrian regime on Daraa province and the possible waves of refugees that could result from these offenses. It was an engaging meeting, and we are very grateful to Afzal for taking the time to meet with us.
