On Thursday 17 June 2020 we participated in Café Conversation with participants from Syrian diaspora leaders programme in the UK. The event was part of Common Purpose’s programme which aims to build the capacity of Syrian leaders in the diaspora to contribute to Syria and the diaspora community. We shared the story of RR and how it was established and thrived as one of the leading community organisations for the Syrian community in the UK. At the end we answered some questions about individual and organisational challenges that we faced during our journey.
