Rethink Rebuild Society hosted a seminar on hate crime in our multi-facility room on Sunday 13 October. The talks were given in Arabic by Rethink Rebuild. The speakers stressed the importance of recognising and reporting hate crime. After the talks, the floor was open for Q&A and the attendees added their input on their experiences.
The audience receive a bag with pen and a guidance leaflet in Arabic and English about reporting mechanisms and the best means of protecting children from bullying.
Another talk was then delivered about bullying in school. The speakers stressed the importance of building a positive relationship between carers and their children and to maintain communication with the staff in their children schools.
We are grateful to Manchester City Council who funded this event.
