Helping Refugees Past and Present

On Friday 11 October 2019 RR was invited to participate in a panel discussion called "Helping Refugees Past and Present"at St Peters House in Manchester. The event was organised as part of Journeys Festival 2019 and highlighted why people engage in refugee work, and what challenges they encounter.

RR shared the various types of work we do with refugees as well as the personal motives that drive its members to continue. After the talks, the floor was open for Q&A between attendees and academic and practitioners speakers.

We thank our partner Journeys Festival for the invitation and the setup of friendly gathering that encouraged the audience to engage with the discussion.
