RR, in collaboration with Jasmine of Peace, hosted a women-only event on 7 March in celebration of International Women's Day 2015. The audience learned about the struggles, hopes, aspirations, and experiences of the Syrian woman and enjoyed entertainment put together by a group of young Syrian girls as well as a dabke group. This event, fully organised by Manchester's Syrian women, highlighted the diverse accomplishments of the Syrian woman both locally and abroad.
