Shared Health Foundation, in partnership with Rethink Rebuild Society, delivered the "Keeping Healthy Course" on 19th and 26th of October to RR's +50 Women Group.
The Keeping Healthy course is a two part course that explores basic health tips such as sleep, hygiene, exercise and healthy food and provide a guide to the NHS. The course is designed to support asylum seekers and refugees to navigate the healthcare system and point them in the right direction of services they will find helpful. After the course, the participants were encouraged to join the peer-led groups as an opportunity to share new information and receive ongoing support.
