Members of the Syrian community of Manchester stood outside Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium prior to its match with Arsenal on April 29th to distribute leaflets and balloons in protest of Russia's hosting of the World Cup - a tournament of peace, while Russia sides with a brutal totalitarian regime that obstructs any chance for peace. This event was co-organised with Syria Solidarity UK, who staged a similar campaign outside West Ham's stadium in London.
