‘Law and Politics of the Syrian Conflict’ Symposium in Nottingham

Our Research & Policy Coordinator delivered a presentation on 4 May at a symposium on the ‘Law and Politics of the Syrian Conflict’ co-hosted by the Centre for Conflict, Rights and Justice (Nottingham Trent University) and Nottingham International Law and Security Centre (University of Nottingham). Her paper was titled ‘Responsibility to Protect: Overcoming the Russian and Chinese Vetoes on Syria through Uniting for Peace’. Special thank you to the conference organisers for hosting such a timely and important event and to Dr. Bashar Hakim and Lena Baurek from Syrian Society of Nottinghamshire for coordinating a Syrian presence at the symposium.
